Fleas and Ticks Learn how to prevent your pet from getting fleas and ticks |
It's not too early to think about puppy training. The critical period for a puppy to
respond well to socialization is from 8 weeks to 20 weeks of age. Your puppy needs exposure to a variety of other people: men, women, and children as well as other puppies and adult dogs. Don't forget car rides and leash training too. The more a puppy is exposed to the conditions
that will be a part of his world at this formative stage, the better pet he will be. A well-socialized puppy is a happy puppy with a happy owner.
Free puppy socialization on Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the lower level training room at Gehrman Animal Hospital.
Enter from the lower parking lot. No advanced registration required, but call ahead to confirm that the class is being held.
