We do not offer training classes at this time.
It's not too early to think about puppy training.
The critical period for a puppy to
respond well to socialization is from 8 weeks to 20 weeks of age. Your puppy needs exposure to a variety of other people: men, women, and children as well as other puppies and adult dogs. Don't forget car rides and leash training too. The more a puppy is exposed to the conditions
that will be a part of his world at this formative stage, the better pet he will be. A well-socialized puppy is a happy puppy with a happy owner.
Free puppy socialization on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm in the lower level training room at Gehrman Animal Hospital.
Enter from the lower parking lot. No advanced registration required, but call ahead or check our homepage to confirm that the class is being held.
