What Constitutes an Emergency?
If your pet is bleeding, having trouble breathing, has been hit by a
car, or sustained other traumatic injury, is unconscious, is having a
seizure, has ingested something
poisonous is having the dry heaves, persistently vomiting, is
vomiting blood or passing blood from the rectum, can not urinate, has an
eye injury, or can not open its eyelids, has been in hard labor for more
than 30 minutes, is showing paralysis of the limbs especially the hind
limbs, is running a fever over 104 degrees or is generally painful; you
should certainly seek emergency help.
