Questions?
New clients of Gehrman Animal HospitalI am new to your clinic.
New clients are always welcome. Your appointment will last about 30 minutes. Bring any previous vet history of your pet. If you would like to save time, you may complete the new client form prior to arrival.
pets, dogs, catsWhat pets do you see?
Our veterinarians see dogs and cats (and small rodents for minor problems). Because the physiology of animals varies greatly, we are unable to treat other animals. If you have birds, pocket pets or exotics we will gladly help you find the right specialist for that animal.
Veterinarian appointments Do I need an appointment?
Routine cases are handled by appointment, which will minimize your time spent waiting. Life threatening emergencies are seen on a walk-in basis. If possible, call to let us know that you are on your way. Multiple emergency time-slots are saved throughout the day for non-life-threatening situations.
labradoodleWho does the paintings in your lobby?
The original paintings and prints in the lobby are by the artist, Amy Brazil. If you are interested in acquiring one, visit Amy's website.
Payment methods What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. Checks and cash are also accepted. Payment is due at the time services are rendered.
Clinic cats, Cece and Tiger Who are your clinic cats?
Cecelia and Tiger reign supreme at Gehrman Animal Hospital. Both rescued, they can be seen sleeping or greeting clients. Our long time cat friend Simon died in August 2008.
Fixed income What if I'm on a fixed income?
The Hennepin County Animal Care Foundation may provide assistance for the health care of your pet. Their number is 763-529-5060.
Pet Portal What is a Pet Portal?
A Pet Portal provides free, secure online access to your pet's health information. All you need is an email address and client status.
